    As have I..I drew a really cool doodle guy doing a backflip..then the physics as two why he could do it. My teacher found it funny.

    Meant to start designing for ya but ran out of time and figured I'd wait to see what you wanted.

    It was on my quiz I turned in, so we shall see. Maybe I'll get some extra credit.

    As for the rack, I memebr you mentioning it but cant remember what you said. Do you want it sitting alot lower, like mikes, or higher like montes?

    And is square tubing ok? Will be alot cheaper and easier.

    square could work, I'd just be worried about sharp corners. i have it drawn with 1-1/2" tube now. I couldn't figure out how to join the pieces at a radius so I gave up. :eek:

    Basically this is my thought process:
    The front piece directly behind the cab would mimic the outline of the cab.
    The side pieces would be angled in to reduce the overall width to something around 3'6" from side to side.
    Then 2 or 3 cross members to hold it all together and give me something to bolt the tent to.
    And some L steel along the bed rails

    We can take care of sharp angles. Ill mess with auto cad. sounds liek exactly how I had drawn it tho. Im gonna be in houston pretty much all of next week so i might not have it done next week.

    and I have exactly 36" from the top of my bed to the top of my garage door. the tent is 14" tall when folded up (maybe Monte or Mike can verify this?) so the actual platform can't be any more than about 20" from the top of the bed rails. I haven't decided if I want to go a little lower and keep the tent tucked behind the cab or go higher and keep more visibility out of the back window
