Thats what i was thinking too. This guy basically designed it on a CAD program and then sent it in to get laser cut. Im going to see if he would be interested in selling me a kit

    No ill play dead.

Square tubing is WAY more work. You have to weld each joint and then grind t make it look pretty instead of just bending.

Remember no matter how wide the top is the tent is going to be 48" wide..or whatever it is.

20" is WAY too tall. The tent will sit way over the cab and be super tippy. Mine is 14" from the top of the bed rail to the bottom of the rack. S 15.5" tall.

The tent is a bit taller then 14" due to the ladder adding like 3" I think.

Trust me. Don't go any higher then mine. Otherwise the drag from the tent will KILL your power and mileage. Plus be very tippy offroad and on road.

I can still use my rear view mirror just fine if your worried about visibility. Doesn't do me any good as my tire on the rear bumper blocks over half of my view anyways haha you can also add a rear camera for under 100 bucks.

You might also want to consider add the wheelers AAL too for load capacity increase. Your going to be adding about 200+ lbs to the back plus your camping gear. The 5 packs alone won't hack it.

    Looks great

I think you, Mac and I will have to collaborate a little on this  It would have been easier to have you build it as you have the tent and have already made one rack but then I decided that you were too far away and it was going to be too much of a headache to it pick up.

And I know I will probably need an AAL. My rear is already getting saggy. :(

Nonsense! You come to yellow stone enough. Would be easy to meet up and install there.

But im all for help. Mac is a good welder as is closer, can't argue that. Ill just try and make sure it turns out to your liking and works well haha

and the AAL is nice helps a lot.
