I honestly believe they won't be able to ban ar/ak style guns, to many people who would fight for them including myself. High cap mags may be a different story....I sure hope not though.
That post explains why I can't get reloading bullets

Hopefully everything should level out and drop back down a bit after everything calms down, but you never know.

With that said, please keep any politically aimed comments to minimum.

    Edited.

Once things settle down, manufacturers will catch up and prices will come back down.

That was an interesting read, though.

CA and NY allow 10 rnd mags, but also allow possession of preban mags.

NJ allows 15rnd mags, but NO preban mags.

    go figure

The law there has not been enacted yet. In about a year, it makes the sale of a magazine that holds more that 7 rounds illegal, the the possession of a magazine over 10 rounds is illegal. You can have a 10 round pre-ban magazine, but it cannot have more than 7 rounds in it.

yes, and i read on the smith and wesson forum that if they had "high" capacity mags before a certain date they could keep them, the thing that was weird was the date was in the future (i think it was march but i'm not sure)

It's obviously not the case, but your signature quote looks like it's related to that new law. lol

I had (7) water jugs in a row duct taped together to keep them in line. Beside them were two boxes of wet newspapers to try the rounds in as well. Watch the Jug video, the first two jugs impact was so great it knocked the 50-60# box of wet newspapers clean off the table. You can see the box falling off the other side near the end of the video. Round stopped in the 5th water jug. These particular bullets are $1 each but as you can see they work very impressively.
