So anyway, one of the flanges on my cat converter was leaking so I took it into a shop for them to patch. They patched the hole, charged a really decent price then I said, "can you take a look at this rattle I have?" It rattles at low RPM under throttle. So we took it out so the mechanic could hear it, and he said it was something in the rear probably. I said probably driveshaft, so we took it back in and started going over stuff, and sure enough, the bolts holding the carrier bearing were loose. Yikes.
So on the same note how much slop, if any, should there be in the carrier bearing?

Probably the sickest build I've seen for the '98.
    Nice work dude!

Thanks man! How are those subs treating you? Are you running 1 or 2 subs? I think I might switch to two 10" subs.

Anything JL Audio has is awesome, I have two 10" W3's and they are beasts. I've had quite a few different subs in the past and not one of them has near as good of sounds JL. You wouldn't be disappointed that's for sure!

Really like this build man. I love what you did with the frame. I ran into the same rust problems with my 99, and fixed them myself, but it doesn't look nearly as nice as yours. Bad ass 98... :mudding:
