Who are all you people that are driving through bushes and trees where you need to worry about branches coming through the front of your trucks?!?;)

    Seriously.

But the plate bumper does look good.

Not saying I bought it for that reason alone... but the plate does cover more area, so what I stated wasn't false. Thanks though. Your truck is what made me want to get the tg at first.

The rest isn't bad...the rock pit isn't too much further after that. The end of trail 4 is the gnarliest...hanglider hill its called. Some good snow on it the other day and I was the only truck up there so didn't venture down it.

I'm not arguing that the plate covers more, but I think the argument against not getting a tube bumper because it will let branches through is retarded. If you are not blind and stupid, you can drive and keep branches out of the front of your truck.

Sensitive subject? Its a bumper...get what you want I'm not arguing anything and I'm not here to convince anybody over what's better.

No I know what you're saying and wasn't trying to sound argumentative. Sorry if it came across that way. I was just speaking in general terms, not trying to question your choice specifically. Some guys like the plate look, some guys don't. I actually prefer the plate look which is why I said yours looks great. On my truck I went with tube to keep the weight lower on the front end.

My only point is that the branches argument is pointless. If you like plate bumpers get one.

Anyway, not trying to take a dump in your thread, sorry. Truck is looking great.

Excellent build! I'm not that close and am moving farther away (Hollister/ Santa Cruz area), but would love to meet up and wheel sometime. Check out by build, we are similarly prepared and I DD my truck too so we probably would like driving similar trails.

Excellent build! Did you have any issues up front with the 15" rims? I mean with spacers.

Finally swapping to 882's...keeping the 10mm spacer in as well. Got one side done...waiting to get the other side assembled, I'll finish in the morning.
