Yeah buy i don't think yours are kickout and I want that. They just go out from what pics i saw.I want the lockouts so it adds as a step and more protection.

So you're gonna take your sliders off to touch them up!? WTF? Lol.

I just use a piece of cardboard to protect my paint from overspray

 

So next time I come up with a brilliant idea of say... getting filler plates on a set of sliders, don't let me do it. Wholly hell that's a lot of surface area to prep and a lot of creavices to clean out... Even with power tools, it's a lot of surface area.

BTW, anyone else notice that their sliders have a LOT of slag all over them? I've gotta do a lot of work on mine, going to take an angle grinder to them to get all the slag off.

I plan to take mine off to touch them up... There's more to touch up than just respraying. If you want it to stick you should wire wheel the area, prime and paint. You certainly can just use cardboard but over time, being in New England salt, you're going to get to the point where they'll need a complete strip down and repaint.

 

Oh, and Alex, next time you're in the area, or closer, I'd definitely like to get your LED bar compared against my PIAAs. I really want to see how LED lighting stacks up.

If you have a angle grinder grab a wire wheel . It will take the slag off and polish the shit out of the metal .

I've been using one of those for over an hour. Some of the slag is on there good, it's not even coming off with the wire wheel.
