just ok huh?? those off the counter coilovers won the baja compared to the other set ups that arent specifically made for a "stock" truck. i know king and fox make great products but its the same set up as others, you have to tune them specifically for the tacoma. the SAWS are great but im very dissapointed with their customer service, as i was waiting for 2 months for their coilovers but their still on damn back order. ive been in a truck with the saws and they do have a good ride off road aswell as the icons, but the on road ride doest even come close to the same comfort. they all make good shocks, but what i like bout the icons is that there is no problems with their coilovers at all compared to the issues others have had

EDIT: This is just lots of info i have gathered in the last 3 months while i was debating on my set up.

he does alot of work on the icons and even does the rebuilding with his own parts that makes them better, i'm sure they ride good just think he might be a little pist from what happened, don't know what happened, Chris would know, i will not buy thier products anymore after this, i am going to put the 5100's back in and hope they do good on the rear 2" lift. my saw 2.5's are great and thinking i will stay them when i go long travel.

i called them and they told me they can't do it because they don't have the tools because edelbrock made them, and they are rolled closed instead of a thread, the end of the conversation was sorry but we can't do anything. So i paid almost $500 for a pair of edelbrock shocks with icon's name, Fuckin perfect.

If the rear 5100's top out too easy, get some of the extenders from Toytec. Mine topped out with 2.75" lift REALLY bad and with the extenders they're awesome now! Much better flex and overall better ride too.

thanks, i used the search and found that toytec has and ordered them. and don't know how long edelbrock has beed making them, i will save up for some king's or fox's, leaning towards king since i hear they have good customer service and they are close to me as well.

I want to get back to this Icon Rear shocks made by edelbrock. SO are you saying that a certain batch was made by edelbrock??? I watched Icon put mine together and I know for a fact that a lot of time and quality went in to them and I know that theyre not made by edelbrock. I have ridden iin a lot of different tacomas with a lot of different setups (SAWS, Icons, Fox, OME, King) and the ride and feedback of the Icons is what sold me in them. Plus, they stand behind their product.
