I think I will go pick up one of those repair manuals and check price of the part... I'll let you know. I am also planning on doing all the bushings in the uca's, lca's and ball joints... Looking at picking up a press to help with that. Raymond wants to do his also.

 

Okay, just checked it all out... It is mostly easy. No pressing involved, it has a 4 bolt mounting flange onto the hub. Also I have taken this all apart before to do my half shaft. Thinking about doing mine tomorrow. Napa sells an OEM one for about $120 and a cheaper one for $75. You can also get the OEM one from rockauto.com for about $95.

 

Finally got these things in! I now know why I don't see my year with lights behind the grille. Also put in clear bumper lights

Those do look nice on 1st Gens. You'll have to fill me in on how they handle off-road at our next run. How you liking them on-road?

Dang Silas, you should get a commission for everytime someone goes in and gets tires. I'll probably be by in a few weeks to order tires. I just hope I won't be towing a livestock trailer.

yea especially on the black 4-runner wheels IMO.

and there not as bad as i was expecting. havent noticed much of a difference except for extra vibes and road noise on highway

For a mudder, they really aren't that bad, noise wise. How the rear handled on wet pavement was why I decided to divest myself of them.

I'm about to go spend the tire money you gave me. Breaking down and getting a drill and some hole saws so I can install this spare tire mount in the bed.

 

got my new toy!!!!!!!! just gotta rebuild the motor and its ready to go! toyota axles, streched, full cage, 6.5:1 crawler t case, 5.29 gears, front and rear spools, ect ect ect
