Last picture for now... One of my carry setups. It's a Glock 19 w/TLR-1 light, factory night sights and other than an extended mag release and extended slide stop it's stock. The holster is from a good friend of mine that has coloradoholster.com and makes some phenomenal kydex holsters. If you need any holsters he makes amazing products and his customer support is second to none. No need to wait months for a kydex holster when you can have one in your hands within a week. No shit.

Neat. How does that YHM can sound? If this sitch calms down without major restrictions I'll probably end up building a 300 BLK SBR, or at least an upper. I'm already vested in the caliber.

It does a real good job with sound suppression for the money. My buddy owns TBAC (Thunder Beast Arms Corp) so I'm not going to say it compares with their stuff but if your on a budget it's a great can that you can throw on everything up to a 30cal setup with ease. It's a little bit heavy for quick work on the 9" but I'm a pretty good size guy so I don't generally complain about weight as much as some I know. Sure you'll notice it if you take 3-day long classes but you're going to be spent no matter what you run.

Sounds about right. I have the AAC 762SD and it's a little long but it sounds really good.

Don't joke about tacticool 30-30's. Mossberg is enough of an asshole to actually do it.

Yea, I will definitely hold off on picking one up until the stainless hits the shelves. Eh, I've been swinging back towards favoring wood stocks lately. Really like the way the laminated looks with the stainless anyway. I'm sure if Ruger doesn't have a synthetic stock for it someone will make one in short order. It will certainly help lighten an already light gun.

Hey, who all is releasing guns in .17 WSM? I just recently found out about this new caliber and am intrigued by its specs over the .17 HMR but have only seen that Savage was showing off a rifle at SHOT this year. I can definitley understand the concern about whether this caliber will survive but it might be safer to worry about .17 HMR with this new caliber around.

That being said, with all the searching recently for .17 WSM I finally decided to just buy a .17 HMR and if in the future WSM is getting support maybe upgrade down the road. Unfortunately the HMR purchase is delayed cause all 5 of the Savage TRR-SR's my local dealer got in are missing the top rails and I gotta wait a couple weeks for them to get them in. Guys at the store were oblivious to it and had the display out for a couple days and didn't notice till I came in. If i end up finally getting it I'll post a pic.

apparently savage is the only manufacturer to release the gun chambered in the new round first, with promises of 2-3 more within 3-5 months. (so i read)
im fixing to put my 17hmr on the market and wait for one of these new ones.

if it was a 12 gauge lever action shotgun I'd get one....that would be a cool one to have....hate the collapsable stock, make it top folder and I would be interested
