Thanks man! I'm pleased with the progress so far! Cleaning them up is such a pain in the keister though.... It's taking so much longer than I had even realized... Some spots on these things are near impossible to really get in and clean out well... But being indoors is nice so I can't complain.

    Anyway good luck tomorrow!

haha yea, i had 285's, but traveling 35 miles up the interstate to work, one way, fucking sucked!!!! couldnt use cruise control because it was constantly in frigging 3rd gear with all the fucking hills in northern NH... they are 265/75/16's, no rubbing issues, and they still look good. there isnt a huge different between them and the 285's honestly, i think its like half an inch... the best looking tire set up i had was the 305/70/16's with 2" wheel spacers... looked bad ass but the tires were junk, and spacers were cheap/shitty so it shook violently at like 40mph and up .. looked cool though.

Took a nice nap in the shop. Woke up, finished painting the right slider, finished brushing the left one and prepped it for paint. The prep all wax and grease remover works wonders for getting residual anything off... Anyway here's a few shots. Next pictures will be on the truck :)

I have one question. Why are you guys so anal into painting your sliders? They are meant to be dragged and smashed off hard sharp shit! It's gonna get scratched. I'm going with a quick prime and black coat.

may as well. This will prevent rust in places that aren't going to get scratched, places that get bashed up will be easy to paint over, also since they were in the bed of my truck for a while there was a lot of surface rust to begin with so I wanted to get that off.

Lol yeah, I may be a little too eager... Just picked them up and of course I grabbed the one spot where it hadn't dried all the way... luckily I just hit that area again with the bed liner... I need sleep....

I'm great with metal and welding and prepping for the paint... But I'm a fish out of water with a spray can... Kinda getting the hang of it though. Kind of. :D

you need a LIFT. you can get a kit for cheap, and worry about upgrading the parts later when you have money!

My belts squeak so loud since the summer. My end links rattle up a storm. Once I finish this quarter at school I'll have money for eibachs and 5100's for the front. the rear is already bought and have it. GO TO BED
