So, I got the All Pro bumper welded up and sprayed with Raptor. It turned out pretty good I think. I forgot to take pics while I was welding it, but you get the idea. Hopefully this will add a little extra strength.

Finally got around to color matching the chrome around my grille. Been meaning to do this for a couple years now lol. It's not perfect, but it turned out better than I expected, as I don't have much patience with tedious painting and what not.

Got a little work done this weekend. Picked up an extra set of LCAs a while back and wrapped the bushing mounts with some 1/8" plate this weekend. Not the prettiest welds in the world, but it turned out okay.

    Sweet truck!

Have you tried getting actual measurements comparing the 255 with the 305? I'm real curious to see how the 305 compares to a315 MTR. It would be a real nice alternative if its close.

Front or rear bumper? I love my rear bumper, and I like the front now since I've welded and reinforced it. But, if I had it to do over again I would probably go a different route. The bolt together design is just not strong enough, and the wings being 1/8" makes it worse. Of course, that all depends on what you are using it for I guess.

The 305s measure right at 33.8" x 12.3" on the truck under weight. That is on a 8.5" wheel with 35 psi.

Wow! That is pretty even with many 315's.

Any chance you've gotten a measurement on the 255's? Looks to be about 2" shorter in your pic, but hard to tell since the MTR isn't under weight in the pic.

    Thanks!

It actually isn't on the truck yet. It's in my 4.56 open diff which won't be installed for another two or three weeks. I don't anticipate any issues though. It doesn't appear that anyone is having any issues. Also, a friend of mine that I would consider a bit of an expert in the field tells me that a bronze impregnated bushing should last the life of the vehicle no problem.

I can say though, don't waste your money on the tool. I made my own from some scrap, and it worked just fine.
I just used a 5/16" bolt (1/2" head) about 3" or so long. Used a piece of 1/4" plate with a hole drilled in it and a washer on top. Then I cut and grinded a piece of 1/8" plate until it fit (if i did this again, I would go with a little bigger plate as the 1/8" bent a little). I just placed it on the outside of the bushing and kept cutting/grinding until the plate was slightly smaller and rounded off on the edges to match the bushing. Then I drilled a hole in the center of it and welded a wing nut to it (you could possibly use a lock washer or JB weld or something if you don't have a welder). I am not knocking ECGS, as they are a great company to deal with, and the bushing is a top knotch product, but their tool being precision machined and all that jazz is just not necessary.

Just measured my 255s- 32.25" and they are at about half tread.

Yep, bought it in '08 brand new. They were trying to get rid of it for the new models and I got a steal of a price on it.
The DSMs appear to be very strong. They are definitely a quality arm and they have stainless uniballs to boot. My only gripe is that they stick out a little further than the stock ones and my 255s rub them at full lock. Of course, I think all aftermarket UCAs have this problem. I have a set of Camburg 1.25s that I'm swapping in a few weeks, so I guess I'll find out.

    Another question for ya :)

How close did the 305 come to your modified cab mount?

I honestly can't remember exactly. I thought I had some pictures, but now I can't find them. I will be clearancing the fenders here pretty soon and will measure. Then the whole set will be going on in a few weeks. Just have to collect a few more parts...

Here's some inspiration for cutting the fenders :)

I still need to do the front.
