Dealers who performed the Suspension TSB

Yes, John Hoss was the service rep. I picked up my truck today after work at 5pm. It rides alot better then before, it also sits a little higher. Before the TSB, when I drove out of driveways and onto the street the truck would go left to right alot and bounce around. Now it feels more solid and not as much body roll. I agree definitely worth it.

 

This was asked somewhere else, but I cannot find it.. how do you know it is done right? What are some of the mistakes made having this done?

 

It looks like your vehicle still has to be under warranty for the the free suspension update. If not it looks like an out of pocket expense. Am I wrong?

 

Palm Beach Toyota, performed the Rear leaf pack TSB on my 2007 4X4 DC LB. They ordered the parts and I went in for the install along with a few other upgrades

 

Had to play the game(i'm not sure why it bottoms out when hauling stuff)But they ordered the parts, and installed them. Toyota West Columbus,Ohio

 

Anyone in Atlanta area had tsb done and which dealer?

 

I had the it done at Toyota/Scion of Newnan. I described my harsh ride with about 600 pounds in the back. They took my truck back for the tech to take a look at it, and they ordered the parts that day.

Parts were delivered the next day and the TSB took them about 3 hours with a new alignment.

I have a 2006 Prerunner, Double Cab, 2 Wheel Drive with the 4.0 L.

How much of a hassle did they give you and what did you have to tell them. I'm gonna try the same with Toyota of Boerne. I have a 2008 DC PreRunner. Does anyone know if I am covered under the TSB?

I just talked to the service dept at Toy of Boerne and it looks like they are going to do the TSB for me. I told them I was bottoming out when helping a friend move. Will let you know what they say or do.

Power Toyota-Tempe, AZ just did mine. They got it right, replaced all four shocks, the leafs and did an alignment.

I tried calling the 1800 and got brushed off, was told to go see the dealer. I walked into the dealer asked for the service manager and gave him the TSB. He was a little reluctant but didn't give me a hard time about it at all.

 

Truck is at shore toyota now having the TSB work done.

They better do it right!

 

Thanks to TW and everyone for all the information on the tsb. Toyota of Boerne is going to replace the shocks and add a leaf. Will post what type of job they do when the parts get in.
