Changed oil and oil filter as well as as plastidipped my rear bumper.

I think that Toyota tried to make replacing the oil filter as hard as possible! Took my over an hour just to finish everything...

As for plastidipping the bumper, it came out looking like crap because of the cold and wind. But as least all the chrome is gone.

Awesome! I've thought about putting a supercharger on mine. But when it comes to doing mods involving the engine, I'm a little wary. It's probably better that I just stick with maintenance haha

Lol it's actually extremely easy to bolt on. The install is pretty basic.

Nice!! Have you driven it yet? What do you think. I still remember many years ago throwing my supercharger on and taking it out for the first burnout.

Yea I took it for a drive. I still haven't really hammered on it hard because I'm scared of it leaning out. But I can definitely notice a difference. And there will be no burning out for me or at least not with my good mud tires on it lol.

throw your K&N air filter away !
it took me 1 MAF sensor and an hour of cleaning greasy carbon build up on the Throttle Body to finally shit can the K&N...

I'm no expert, but after having problems it all makes sense.

If you have an oiled air filter, it is only a matter of time before that oil seeps through and coats the MAF and gunks up the throttle body and/or the IAC valve...

I ditched the dirty K&N and picked up a $19 STP air filter and can tell no difference in performance... in fact, because of the cold temperatures outside i would say everything is performing better.... tough to say

With regular maintenance/ cleaning, an oiled air filter is probably perfectly fine on an old carbureted engine.
On an engine run by electronics and computers, I would say no es bueno!

for those of you who never thought of this, be WARNED!

for those of you who either agree or disagree... carry on

Fixed my cluster lights they were all out. Then hardwired my GPS. Then moved on to the belts snapped the idler bolt and had to get the damn stud out of the block. Night mare. Tried doing endlinks but bolts froze so I removed the bar and placed in dumpster

Anyone know of any reputable suspension and steering install shops in so cal? I'm having a hard time finding one at a decent price.

All I need is labor. As I have all the parts.

    Basically looking to have installed:
    Moog upper lower ball jts
    Moog inner outer tie rods
Moog coils w bilstien 5100 struts up front
Upper and Lower A arm bushings
    Sway bar end link bushings

That's most of it. Haven't decided on whether to install Triangle leafs from Deaver suspension myself.

Yet another Power Steering kit put to use. You can see the broken resoviour o-ring at the bottom. I'll be purchasing the PSC kit in the near future as this should last me another 3-4 months.

If you get the spring compressors and top plates you can assemble the struts and do everything yourself its not all that difficult

Steam cleaned the back seats and carpet of my truck.

Because my daughter's friend barfed all over it.

The good news is I found out the fabric dye is unaffected by steam cleaning.

I'm really glad I did go 883. I got a lot of different opinions about what coil to get. I would recommend 883's to any 1st gen with a 3.4L.

The ride, so far, is excellent. I do plan to get a heavier bumper in the future, so the 883 will be perfect.

Yeah the rims...I think im gonna get some Wheelers steelies here soon. Maybe some 285 rubber as well.

:woot: :jellydance: Looks great! That's what I'm doing this summer as well. Still toying with 882s or 883s, but I'll make up my mind soon enough!

Cleaned up my battery terminals to see if the ground is causing my projectors to be so dim. I'm going to replace my main chassis ground with some 2 gauge while I'm at work tomorrow. Also tested my battery. 335 CCA with a rating of 550. Time for a new one next week when I get paid.
