Does anyone know the limit on how high your truck can be before you need mud flaps?

In AZ, if Mudflaps came standard on the vehicle, they need to remain on the vehicle, and cover all of the tread....DPS told me this, as I was pulled over in my buddies Chevy (with 35's)....I have never had an issue on my Tacoma when they were removed.

Do you still have your mood flaps on or off?

I dont have any Mood flaps...My Wife does, and she keeps them on all the time.

FWIW, I currently have my MUD flaps in my Tacoma. :)

I don't know what the Law is in AZ but a Cousin of mine was pulled over and issued a "fix it" ticket for not having Mud Flaps (San Diego, CA). He's got a Avalanche with 6" lift and 35" tires. I believe that if a police officer wants to pull you over, he'll find something to pull you over for. I mean who the Hell looks for trucks without mud flaps? Are you serious?

True for that ill see what happens im only on some 32 so its not at all as bad as some 35s on a avalanche.

Yeah, Hopefully you won't get pulled over!

I don't know the law or anything but the way i see it is: If a cop wants to pull you over, he can just say you were swerving around in your lane and he wanted to make sure you were not driving drunk.. But idunno, I just hate when they give me tickets.. lol..
