Hello all I am new to here. I have been reading about suspension stuff on here and have become alittle confused about stuff.

I was interested in doing the bilstein 5100 with new springs lift at 1.75 in the front and adding rear bilstein shocks. I do not know if i have to add anything to rear to make it level or will it sit level with just adding the front stuff. I am not a rock climber kinda of person I am more a fire road or going to the snow. I was just looking to do a very mild lift to avoid all these things I have read about with lifting (take off shudders, vibrations etc).

I do not want to do all that UCA or LCA stuff. If I did the bil 5100 lift at 1.75 do I need a differential drop ?

I just want a mild lift with no problems. The reason I am posting this stuff here is that I live in Santa Clarita. If anyone could give me some info on all the above stuff and direct me to great great great shop in So Cal, that understands toyota tacoma's and what to do properly to lift them. (I do not like 4wheelparts or big johns, bad experience with both) Some told me about some place in burbank offroad something. Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thank All.

For the front as long As you don't lift it more than 2inches you'll be fine you don't Need uppers. 2.5-3 in lift that's when you need uppers. As for the rear they also make 5100 to replace the stock shocks.

You should contact downsouth motorsports, they are a vendor on here as well. Tell them your needs and they can point you in the right direction.

DO NOT GO TO THAT SHOP IN BURBANK!!! OFFROAD UNLIMITED IS A BUNCH OF SHEISTERS!!! They over-charge, have egos the size of ships, and do work that is less than a kindergartner. Yes, this is from experience. I've ended up going down to San Diego (The Truck Shop) twice for big things (suspension/leaf install, lights, etc), and they did excellent work for not much $$. I think there's a shop in Woodland Hills..... who's on here who knows them? Or a lot of guys here know how to install, so maybe getting a mod day together would be useful...

John in WH - noted. He have Kings or Fox on his wheelchair? :D I buy stuff at the 4WP in Van Nuys, but I'm hesitant to get more work done. They simply over charge as a company, but do good work. There was someone near Woodland Hills that had or was starting a shop, and they were on this forum, probably in THIS thread. Hmm...

What's nice about 4wheelparts they can price match anything you find something cheaper online they can get it same price or sometimes cheaper. I just like ordering things from there if I can install it my self ill do it. If i can't i go somewhere else 4wheelparts sucks at installing
