Hey Eric... Have you ever though about making a Hybrid front bumper for the second gens? The Armor Tech and Badlands ones are gooooood... but Idk, theres just something not quite fierce enough (imo) about them...
And you do such awesome work I thought you would be good at it!

I'd be willing to donate my truck as a tester :D

Hopefully someone here has installed the high clearance and can help... after you cut the bedsides did you re strengthen it buy rolling the metal or welding on some.kind of extra strength.like a steel rod??? My worry is offroading if a stick or something was to get under the bedside cut it would destroy the new flimsy bedside when it trys to come.out and gets caught or something?? Know what am saying???

Anybody know what size of shackle pin fits on the shackle mount of Eric's front bumpers? I am wanting to put recovery shackles with 7/8" pins on my bumper. Dont want to buy them and not fit. I know the standard is 3/4".

Should be 3/4" - but most vendors will accommodate a special request.

It's as simple as making it a part of your request when ordering.

Eric has accommodated quite a bit on my bumper already. Besides, he might have already welded on the mounts. Just wanted to know what size you guys are putting in. If you read this Eric and you have yet to weld on the shackle mounts on my FJC front bumper, put some 7/8" mounts on, if uou have them in aluminum. If not, it's all good. No worries.

David, measure the pin diameter of the shackle you're wanting to use and I can try and get a pair custom cut(I have a waterjet cutting shop cut those from aluminum). Typical hole size in aluminum is .90" which is obviously larger than 3/4" and even 7/8", however shackles run large. The pin on a 3/4 is actually about 7/8". I should be able to have the shop cut me a pair with some 1" holes for you if its what you need, I just cut a new batch of 4 more aluminum bumpers so I need to order the recovery points to go with those this week.
