Thanks! I plan on posting in the OME thread in the suspension board over the next week or two of my ride quality and feelings on the lift.

I got quoted $1,200 for just my lac bushings... The book they had said 6 hours a side. The Toyota parts list I have says 2.8 hrs per bushing per side.

So for all that work, do it yourself or pay it. You'll be hard pressed to find a better price. Well maybe an unemployed mechanic on Craig's List.

A couple months ago I had light racing uca's installed, new steering rack bushings, new lower control arms installed, new outer tie rods, new lower ball joints installed, all new eccentric cam bolts and an alignment for under $400!!! The place I went to charges $70/ hour for labor. Of course the $400 is labor only, I purchased all of the parts and brought them in when I dropped the truck off.

Well I did the timing belt kit and electric fans with the supercharger but if you just count the supercharger stuff, it only cost me around 350 bucks lol, that number is including the supercharger. I still have to buy the 7th injector and some gauges.

I just went and checked it and it still looks ok. It is just the picture. How would you change the brake fluid anyway? I have never changed brake fluid in anything I've ever owned. I've only replaced a little after bleeding the lines.

You drag what you can out of the reservoir with a turkey baster or squeeze bulb battery filler,,then load the reservoir with fresh fluid and then pressure bleed.

Done this a few times to get the ugly fluid out of a system and to purge all air bubbles. Also works real nice when you install a new master. one man operation. if it's dark or muddy looking fluid,,bleed it out.

This is the kit I bought a few years ago,,works great and doesn't break the bank.

Spray around the bleeder screw threads with some nut buster before you try and open them. If you've never touched them they're probably seized. Breaking one off is a PITA. Use a socket to break them free initially instead of a wrench. Better chance of not breaking them off.

It is a blast! Not going to lie.

The engineering majors do it for class and networking and resume building. I'm just doing it for shits and giggles. Friends with most of the guys on the team and go wheeling with them anyway. May as well hang around the shop on the weekends and mob it when I get the chance haha. The machine shop has a couple rows of mills and lathes and several CNC machines...Going down to King of the Hammers with some of them next week. Definitely going to miss some aspects of college when its all over.
