That is certainly how I fixed it about 20 seconds after I found the damage. :D

Looking for a Perma-fix. Talking to Yuma now, he has the goods.

Sounds like a good idea to just go to a small shop. I recently went to Midas of all places and they actually impressed me with price and the time it took them to replace my rear wheel bearing, (1/3 the cost of the dealership) I will go back to them and see if they can zero in. Now that I think of it, replacing with other used parts doesn't make much sense. I'll check into the tie rods as well. Do all the bushings need to be pressed, or does the entire unit on the control arms need to be replaced,,,should they come back and tell me it's the bushings?

@...swamper...I won't be needing any spacers, I don't have a lift. I appreciate the offer though.

Tie rods last a pretty long time, and only mentioned if you notice decent wiggle in the steering or vibrations at speed. The outers generally wear first.

The bushings need to be pressed. Bottoms are fairly easy unless old ones are seized, but if you have 4x4 then it will be hard to get upper bushings, most people get whole new upper arm assemblies when time to replace. The only upper bushing I've come across are poly, and poly sucks for suspension applications like arm bushings. Incidentally, in my experience most squeak comes from upper bushings, but I wouldn't replace unless they are bad. Go redneck and use WD40.

Aftermarket zirch fitting should take care of squeak on poly bushings, as this is what I have done with my djm arms and past sus. issues on my previous trucks w/ poly bushings.

If anyone is looking, I was at Cabelas a couple hours ago. They got a shipment of AR15s in. No .22 left (rack got cleared while I was there), no .223/5.56 or 6.8. Fair amount of 7.62x39 and 45.

I was surprised how fast the 22LR ammo was going. Walked in and it looked like every person had 2 boxes. I grabbed 2 off the rack that had atleast 40 on it, went to check on .223. When I turned around the last box was leaving the rack and they were taking the rack off the floor.
