bilstine 5100 shocks in front, bilstine 5150s in rear, ome 3inch lift springs in rear, ome 2.5inch lift springs in front. 265/75/16 snow tires till my 285/75/16s get in. 2 ten inch custom subs in my custom box, ran by a hifonics 2400d amp. breather tubes to front and rear diff to keep from sucking in water. building a tube bumper with my brother right now to hold a warn vr8000 winch.
Having 6000k is roughly 10-15% brighter over 5000k, and the batt could help, but most of all the difference in projectors and housings.
Check all the grounding and replace the batt, if you want extra brightness go to ddm and get there 55w single beam (dual beam hi/low burns out fast) the complete set should be cheaper than a new batt depending on where you get the batt.

I had the same problem with my halogen lights when I got my system, now I got 180amp alt, two batts, two runs of 0guage running to my amp 2800rms of power being drawn, now no dimming even at full tilt. Big three upgrade from alt to batts to frame. Helps a lot!

Ehhhh, I'm going to have to disagree with you on 6000k being brighter. It's definitely more blue, but everywhere I've read clearly says the higher in kelvin you go = less usable light output.

I aimed my housings down a little bit last night and that actually seemed to help a lot. Also cleaned up my battery posts and grounding locations so that may have helped as well. I'll get a new battery later in the week when I get paid. Not just because of the dim lights, but because its almost completely dead haha.

Anyone use diehard platinum batteries from sears before?

Thats what im running right now. Its awesome! Accidentally left one of my map lights on all night and she still started in the morning! And its a lot better in performance when i use my winch then the old napa brand or watever it was i replaced it with lol. Diehard platinums were number 1 in consumer reports. :)

Trying to figure out where I can put it...I'm thinking the area in front of the cup holders and shifter. Won't fit in the center console.

I've been trying to figure out where to mount a cb as well. Only good solution I can come up with is getting a cobra 75wxst.

I usually have just screwed mine to the dash under the glovebox, but passengers tend to not like it

Yeah, no go in the center console. Unless I mount it perpendicular to me on the long side. That'd be hard to read and reach though. I think making a space in the front pocket there will be the best. Cb is 7.25" wide. Glove box width in the narrowest spot is 6.5"
