    Attempted to remove my sway bar. Got one bushing off and the rest of the bolts were froze up. Sprayed them with pb blaster and gonna take a shot at it again tomorrow.

    If you have a stock suspension, thats what your build says..

    LEAVE THE SWAY BAR ON!!!!!:eek:

    Unless you have a full aftermarket setup in the front to counter balance the weight better, taking off the sway bar will ride like shit and be extremely unsafe.

    Ha, bull shit. No problem removing the sway bar. I wouldn't say i have a full aftermarket set up but I took off the sway bar when i put in my 5100s and have no problems. Does it body roll like a boat? Ya, but better flex off road. No biggie. Plenty of people take off the sway bar without having fully built suspension.

    For safety purposes I'd keep the sway on with stock suspensions... stiffer lift coils reduce body roll, squishy stock coils would make emergency maneuvering hazardous

    So being unsafe for a typical driver is ok?

    I say better safe than sorry.. especially when lives could be in danger with sudden cornering.

    He will do what he wants.. But I still suggest waiting till a stronger suspension lift is in place before removing a safety item.

    Yeah, I'll just do that. I'm going with 5100's all the way around with eibachs and a procomp aal. The aal is temporary just so I can get this thing lefted and on new tires. I'm going to order some all pro standard 3 inch leafs eventually.

    You're probably right, but I can wait a few days and just do it when I put on my lift.

    Yeah, I'll just wait until this weekend while I'm installing my lift.

    Haha no big deal, I'll just wait a few days.

    I'm glad you posted that. I want to put one or two in my truck and couldn't remember who made them or even who it was that put one in their truck. I knew it was someone on here but that's all I had to go by lol.

    I'm calling BS too...

    I drove my truck for almost 4 years without a swaybar and on stock suspension. I now have coilovers, and YES, it handles better with built suspension, but its not dangerous without it...just dont drive like an asshat.

    And the truck rides MUCH better without the sway bar because it allows both sides of the IFS suspension to articulate independently.

    Lol sure thing. Little thing works great! Probaby the fastest charger I've used for my phone! & it's nice to have it right there since thata another one of those things where Toyota didn't think about what they were doing putting such a tiny little square hole there.. Like the clock behind the steering wheel.. :rant:
