    My bumper pretty stout that is for sure weights down the back little bit but if someone hits it look out. Buddy built it for $650.

    Question for all you 6" lifted gents...

    When I got my pre-purchase inspection done, the people who did it said the trucks wheels/tires need to be balanced. Well obviously I noticed it when I drove on the highway that the truck tends to vibrate. It's on 20" xd monsters with 35x12.50 pro comp extreme a/t's.

    Well I went to a couple of tire shops and asked them about balancing them, and they said its probably a waste of money. Is there anything that can be done, or am I just going to vibrate on the highway?

    Can't say as I have heard good things about pro comp tires and also what is the hub diameter on your wheels. If you have a 108mm hub diamater then try getting a reducing ring from 108 - 106mm and make sure the lug nuts are correct and seated right. This might help w your vibs. I can't see why a shop would tell you rebalancing the wheels would be a waste of money unless they just didn't want to do it.

    Feeling/hearing a vibration thru your ass or threw the floor boards is more than likely a driveline issue.....I have this around 25 to 30mph and at no other time. Having a "shake" in the stering wheel is tires out of balance....which do you have?
