Last Friday I finally got some new tires! The Cooper ATs I had on there were almost bald, so it was definitely time for some new treads! Wanting something more aggressive (the Coopers never were very good in the mud), I decided on the Nexen Roadian MTs. Considering that I got them for $650 mounted and balanced, I'd say I did pretty good. Since they are about 1.5" taller than the Coopers were, they rub in extreme situations, but I will probably be installing a 2" lift this summer, so it's all good. Compared to the all terrains that I'm used to, these things have huge lugs! I've only had about 5 minutes in the mud with them on the way to school this morning, but nothing extreme (didn't even need 4wd). I could definitely tell that they have SO much more grip than the Coopers did. They don't cake up nearly as bad for one thing, which I'm sure helps a lot. On road, they are a little louder, but that's what the radios for, right?! Here are some pictures of my 315K mile '01 4wd Tacoma with them. They're a little muddier now :)

Compared to the ATs, they're a little louder at above 45mph, but definitely not obnoxious. I love them so far.
