An oil change and seafoam makes for a happy pickup. Getting some maintenance taken care of incase my buddies and I take my yota down to KOH.

 

Broke a cv axle in the weirdest way possible cause now i have to take apart my front axle to get the other half of it out!

Awesome. Lol yea the only thing that little pocket is good for is getting small items and dirt stuck in That's probably where I'll put one and then maybe put another one somewhere else. I found out on my last wheeling trip that I don't have enough cigarette lighters and all of the things that needed to be charged, needed USB ports. So when I saw these I definitely wanted a couple.

 

gregors08 did that on the last slade trip we had like a month ago or something. cv snapped off right at the exit of the dif. he got it out with a magnet though

 

no i'm more of a redline or mmo kind of guy.

 

that must have been a crazy strong magnet! I would drill and tap a hole in it, then yank it out with a bolt if you can't find a magnet that'll do that.

 

actually i guess he got lucky, used a really tiny magnet and it slid right out.

oh dang though, that's a great idea! guess i need to throw a few taps in my trail toolbox

I agree.... With the c-clip still in there, I don't see how a little magnet could get it out. hmm...... unless it was broken or something

 

yeah, it snapped right where the c-clip would have been. if the clip was still on it there is no way a magnet would have done that lol

Actually, C clip grooves are a huge stress riser so it is very likely to break there.
