First and foremost, RIP Chris. Hero.

I never really liked Ron Paul, and that is just fucking disgusting.

Rest easy Chris; In today's media-driven culture where Snookie and Steve-O are seen as "icons", Chris was a true American Hero.

They just don't make many men like him anymore.

Please do NOT turn this thread into a political debate. Ron Paul's comments are awful & I for one am horribly embarrassed that he would say such a thing (if he did indeed say it) so let's just leave it at that and not derail this thread which is about paying tribute to a true American hero. If you wish to discuss the Ron Paul comment or any others please do so in another thread.

Very sad situation. I read somewhere that you are 3x more likely to die when returning from a deployment than actually in theatre. Very sad and I hope there is something to be done. My best friend is in Army SF. I worry about him a lot, he def has changed.

    Suck my dick.

Let's get one thing straight, you do not have my respect and you will not get my respect. 3 years in Vietnam does not excuse you from being a bigoted asshole and a fucking shit excuse for a human being.

Spewing your political opinion in a thread for condolences and remembrance is abhorrent, and fits in line with your other displays of character (or lack thereof) on this board. Especially when you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the circumstances surrounding this tragic event aside from what you read on the news.

No, you will never get a "Mr." from me. You aren't a man, and you haven't acted in any manner resembling one, Jimbo.

I'm sorry for your friend's loss. My condolences to him and his family.

    Seriously?

Take your budding romance to PM's please. I receive an email subscription on my phone when replys to threads I create appear and when my son is reading Dr. Seuss books on my phone I really don't need him learning to pronounce cats, hats, and the sucking of dicks.
