Can you tell me the TPMS that will work with the countersteer offroad. I have heard the stock ones will not work well with this rim. Is that true?

Thank you very much for your interest in our wheels.

The wheels will absolutely, positively not rust.

I work with FN Wheels - the sole distributor for these wheels.

A center cap is included with every wheel.

As BuzzardsGottaEat mentioned, the most similar wheel in 17" is the Konig Six Shooter:

and in 18" the wheel would be the FN Wheels BFD:

Yes, definitely I can tell you that OEM TPMS from all Toyota alloy wheels will work 100% with no issues. I've personally installed at least 200-250 OEM Toyota TPMS sensors and not had any issue with them in these wheels.

OEM TPMS from steel wheels will require an adapter or it will require you to change to sensors from alloy wheels. It's possible that this is the issue you've heard.

This is not a specific issue with this wheel (Countersteer Offroad), it is an issue anytime you go from steel to alloy wheels on Toyota (this doesn't apply to any other car manufacturer other than Toyota). Even if you decided to go from steel OEM Toyota wheels to alloy OEM Toyota wheels you'll need to get different sensors or an adapter.

:) This is a very good question, and I'm glad you asked. Just let me know if I can help you out with anything else at all.

I am looking to buy just one of these countersteer offroad rims in size 16, matte black. My wife bought me a set of 4 a few years back and I need the spare tire. I am looking to buy asap. I found the rim on FN Wheels but the site said it was 775 a wheel. that cant be right. Please help!!

    www.fnwheels.com/store

or you can call me at (909)268-6378.

I believe the FN Wheels' website says $775 with shipping for a set of four:
    https://www.fnwheels.com/store/?product=konig-countersteer-offroad

No problem though, just give me a call at (909)268-6378 or call FN Wheels at (951)735-1100 to order a single wheel. I have matte black in stock and I can get one out to you right away. :)

Yes, you can definitely mount 285/75R16 (33" OD) to these wheels. Many of the trucks shown in this thread have that exact tire size (myself included). ;) :)

I had a black truck with black wheels. Looked quite bland IMO. Get the Gunmetal

Personally I agree with you guys. Graphite gunmetal gives just the right amount of contrast on a black truck to really look good. Matte black wheels on a black truck tend to blend into truck.

If you're going for the blacked out / stealthy look, matte black on a black truck will definitely give you that look, but if you want to see the design of the wheel a little bit better, I think graphite will be the way to go.

These are just my personal opinions, and I have seen a lot of great looking trucks that are black and have black Countersteers.

I don't seem to have any photos of graphite on black trucks right now either, but I'll keep digging for you.

If you can't find a black truck with the graphite Konig wheels, maybe you could send me a set and I could demo them and take pics. :)

No problem! The wheels are primed, painted and clear coated in a process that is very similar to the way cars are painted in a factory setting.
