    Hey guys,

Do by chance any of you have any pics of a 07 DC Taco with a sub box like the one available from *********.com installed behind the rear seats?

I would like to see the pics of the seats in the upright position and the open position if there are any out there.

    Thanks

yeah. That's the case on almost all of them. You can also cut the plastic to make it look more OEM.

I did not have to remove the plastic off the back of my seat beacuse of the encluse not fitting but it sounds like shit because my speakers would tape on the back of the plastic

how does the sub sound back there? when the seats are all the way back, is the bass still nice and loud and clear, or does the bass get distorted due to the rear seats?

I used a box from super crew sounds. I did not have to remove the plastic from the back of the seat. It only hits the back of the seat when it's folded down. I was also able to to keep the tray behind the drivers side.

I have used the Pioneer shallow mount subs in several double cab installs and must agree that they sound very good IMO. With the seat back up there is plenty of clearance with the seat back plastic left on (assuming a properly built enclosure of course ;)) however there is a possibility of resonance or rattling from the plastic. :)

    I bought this box: http://www.supercrewsound.com/shop/detail/11/486.htm

The 10" Pioneer sounds pretty good. My last sub was a Type R Alpine so this was a bit of a step down. But, when you buy a truck, you have to use what fits.

yeah, I think im ganna go with the pioneer, some people that have it say that it sounds really good. I like that box, but I just wish it would fit in my 02, Im probably ganna make a custom fit box.
