ARE YOU ON FACEBOOK?

I have steered clear of facebook, but lately I've been tempted to join. What do you all do? I have fears about putting the wrong thing out there and it getting around. I belong to a couple of forums like this one to share my interests with those who have them in common with me. Should I?

 

I deleted mine, it was pointless and it can just lead to drama

 

im on FB but I spend more time on TW, it has become my internet obsession. It wont hurt to join FB, maybe for family purposes.
I have thought about deleting my Acct. on FB.

 

No Facebook here either but all my friends and family have them. My take is if I wasn't friends with you back before Facebook or we didn't bother keeping in touch back then why would I need to have you "like" me now. I have no need either to keep getting daily/hourly reminders of what you're doing, eating, visiting, buying, shitting, or sleeping

 

As far as family goes, most of my family has fb, and there is already quite a bit of drama out there, adding to my apprehension.

Just remember, you can never delete your fb without calling them up. Your account will only be deactivated. Meaning its still there and never gone

 

I'm on facebook mainly for family communication and stuff now but I'm migrating to twitter more.

 

I gave up facebook after the realization that people confuse real life with facebook life.

I'm on FB, but truly I'm on TW way more.

 

I've been on since college when you had to be a college student to join. It was a lot less annoying then. Still a good way to keep I'm touch with what's going on with friends or family that don't live close by. Some of the stuff people post can get annoying though.

I login maybe once in a couple of months if that. Considered deactivating fb account in the past and may still reconsider it again.

 

deleted mine after i got married... all it was after that was drama and hearing about everytime someone lifted there left hand, what they eat, where they go, when their baby is do that they cant afford in the first place.. it wasnt like i was going out and trying to meet girls anymore so I personally didnt have a use for it.. and then i found $20

 

I use it a lot. it is great for managing my organizations on campus, group projects for class, finding interest groups, keeping in touch with family, and staying up to currents events and date with distant friends as well.

your privacy goes as far as you want it to. post up pictures that you want people to see and dont post pictures that you dont want people to see. just be selective if you care so much about sharing your privacy with people you actually know. just make your profile private.



why wouldnt you join...

 

if you have drama on facebook then you are friends with the wrong people... instead of bitching about how it causes drama just delete the bitches.

 

Just wait til you aren't in college anymore, you'll hate it too.
