    So I was watching a deal about Chris Kyle today and I got to thinking about all these shootings recently. More specifically mental illness related shootings. Seems like this is the new thing for people to do. Every since Obama took office (not saying he's the cause....or is he?? :eek::spy:) its getting out of control. Before hand this kind of thing only happened every once in a blue moon, and now its a monthly occurrence. What do you guys make of this? All the bologna the media spits out aside, what do y'all think the issue is?

    The media. If they didn't advertise it, those who are mentally ill would not get the idea to kill someone else. We pay too much attention to these shootings IMO. rather than giving the mentally ill more help, blame goes to guns and we bicker and bicker. I maintain that if the media didn't show a shooting every five seconds and talk about how a new gun ban law could save us, someone considering shooting people would not consider it as strongly. :notsure: Who knows if that is actually the cause though.

    Considering the recent news stories have played the 911 call where his sister says he "traded his soul for a truck" I do not think PTSD is the mental illness that we are having a problem with here. PTSD is not about killing people and taking their crap.
