yeah I'm patiently waiting on a 12 or 13 to come into work that's been rearended (I work at a salvage yard) so I can pick everything off the front also want the black carpet out of a double cab... had one 2012 access cab that came in a while back, but it was a front hit... I did get the center dash panel and black center console out of it for my 06 though, lol

 

If you could find the same color as your taco for all parts and didn't have to visit a painter I could imagine $1500-2000 would do the trick

I thought about just dying the grey carpet, but I just want to be able to remove everything, swap carpet, and then put everything back together... would suck to remove everything, then put everything back in so I could still drive the truck without carpet in it at all while the carpet is dyed and dried, then take everything back out and reinstall the carpet and then put everything back together agian...

loaded the bed with 600lbs of concrete the leaf spring TSB works really well!

 

SHOULD have bought weathertech floor mats... bought the all-weather rubber ones from the stealership... should have spent a little more on the weathertech... especially since I see snow/slush 4-6 months of the year lol

 

Learned how expensive minor repairs can be.
Last weekend, out on the back country, damaged my trailer plug socket as they have it mounted facing down from the rear bumper. Thought I would go to dealership to have repaired or replaced.

$270 for the plug assy, and $185 to have it installed. Decided if they were going to just put it back in the same place, the problem would come up again. While under warranty, they would only put it as it was from the factory. This is gonna happen again, it needs to be moved, so told them thanks but no thanks.

That cost me $145.

I didn't expect it to be free, after all it takes time and resources to look at it, but thought just a little on the steep side.

Will take it to a trailer hitch type place instead and move it into the bumper.

 

Heated and reformed my wheel well linings, no more rubbing!!

 

This is where DIY has a huge advantage. This project is something most people could do on a weekend with a friend for guidance.

Right, and normally would, kind of like when I installed my Hi-Lift jack mounts, but I think I want to move it up and into the bumper, will see.
