Haha thanks dude. And yeah he will be boxing that rear section after the stock crossmember and tying in a couple more tubes. The rear of the frame will be boxed frame horns to a bumper.

do u happen to know how much those springs lift the rear over stock?

 

what wire size and weld setup you using? The porgression of your welds from start to today shows.

 

I am guessing you are talking about the j59s they give it about 1.5" of lift.

My buddy is using a Miller 180 autoset with .03 wire that I picked up right before he started. I am giving it to him in return for the fab work.

Nah unfortunately not. Eric still has to bleed the brakes pull out the proportioning valve and finish up the bedcage work. Trying to make it out to King of the Hammers for the race Friday.

 

Hmmmm miller can go to hell, worst wire feed system known to man. With that being said looks like you made out like a bandit on that trade. You might want to do some test runs before you try ramming her down hammers...

Video's of test runs are just as vital... you should have your boy fab some GoPRO mounts in key locations while he's still doing work for you.
