At least it wasn't a surprise knowing a camel is around there. We had to stop when coming home via MET from Tahoe many years ago. There was a buffalo in the road. I guess the guy that owns the private property that MET goes thru (where the barbed wire fence is on both sides just past where Park Creek comes in) had one get out. They were out there trying to get it.

 

They called some cowboys to come out and corral that bastard, on the news one of the cowboys was saying 'I never corralled a camel, cows and bulls, I'm good, but never touched a camel'
