i've actually had good luck with the 3 ramline hotlips i bought

i'll probably replace them with something nicer when they become more available, but for now these clear plastic toy looking things are doing their job pretty well

Finally got me one about a month ago! Sold my Marlin xt-17 and decided to get a Ruger. :D

Ruger 10/22, Bushnell Banner 3.5-10x36mm & Ruger sling. Great shooting gun.

have you seen the h3cr clips? I can reload one in about 10 seconds with the clips they provide. They are pretty awesome.

I second the BC stock. It is the best folding stock I have seen for a 10/22. Very Solid. This is my BC Tactical build. I have not yet decided on sights. It feels very solid.

Thanks, I had been wanting to build one like that for a few years. I had originally planned on getting the 16.5" tactical model for that setup. With an 16.5" barrel. In the BC stock, it is the shortest you can go before the ATF calls it a SBR. But since the market is dry for 10/22's I went ahead and built with my original carbine. There is about 20,000 rounds through that gun and still working perfectly. Definitely my favorite .22 rifle.

I may go red dot as well. I really want these but they are expensive:

I had the same BC stock for a while too. had fun with it then replaced it with the draugonov, or however its spelled, stock for a while now its got a target stock on it with a heavy barrel . Ive always used magnified scopes on my 10/22 though as I like to see a little farther out.[/QUOTE]

I was thinking about a scope, Ive shot iron sights for forever. I got so use to the stock iron sights I was hitting stuff at 100 yds. I would like to build one with a heavy barrel and thumb-through stock as well. I almost cant decide between 10/22 or .17HMR for a scoped setup. Maybe i'll just build them all eventually :infantry:
