I was curious about what i should put in my 2010 tacoma. I would like to have two decent tens and a good box.

My question is what wattage should i run on my amp and if i should get a ported box?

if you have systems i would like to see some pics and suggestions
    Thanks!

the way I say to go other people dont always agree with but I say buy the same brand amp and sub and match your watts. that way you know you have enough power and not toooo much

I did my best to match my system. my amp pushes a little more than the sub is rated for so i turned the amp down a bit and its sounds great. amp does not get to hot and the sub does not cut out at all.

Depends on what you are wanting to hear.

When I was 17 and competing in SPL, I ran 3200 watts to 4x 18 inch (CV Strokers)subs and ran no amp to the stock mid's highs. Didn't care one bit about them as all I was trying to do is generate pressure.

Now I have Focal's V30's, Alpine type r 12 (Shallow), and 80watts to each door, 600watts to the sub, the sound quality is amazing.

It just depends what you want to hear.
