So I am going to be meeting a member and swapping wheels and tires in the nearby future and we don't want to meet at a parking lot, put the trucks on jack stands and change them in the parking it. It's probably not the best idea. We're both traveling about 2-3 hours and meeting half way, I was wondering if any of you guys up here have every done this and took it to a shop and had them switch all four tires? How much did they charge you?

If you have any information on the approx. cost let me know, thanks guys!:D

Should be cheap if there are any reasonable tire shops in the area. I only paid 35 bucks at the local tire shop to mount and balance when I got new tires and wheels.

Find a member that lives at the halfway point and swap at their place. If not, then who cares, swap them in a parking lot somewhere. Don't pay someone to do an easy job like that

See, I wouldn't mind doing it in the parking lot other than the chance of messing up.. and the floor jack I have is messed up.

Yeah I didn't think it would be too bad, all they have to do is switch trucks.

I paid $30 for taking off my winter wheel set and mounting my summer set on last spring. Did not have time to do that myself...

That's not bad, so would be probably $60. About what we estimated for it.
