I work for myself so getting the time off is no biggie.. just depends on what's going on with the clients.

Do you have any children? My girl is 6. But part of this trip is to get some "me" time. Single dad, no mom in the picture... I barely have any individuality at this point.

OBA? You mean the 12v compressor taking 1.5 hours to fill tires on both our vehicles isn't something you want to do every time we go up?
I can't this weekend because the wife and I will be moving a piano up to the cabin as well as just going up to enjoy our new purchase. Next weekend would probably work though! I could come and meet you guys at the TH and then go back to the cabin after the run. beerfest may have to be the following Weekend.
My only daughter is 9months. I totally understand about the "me" time. My wife and I were just talking yesterday about how much respect we have for single parents. I have no idea how you do it. PROPS. Not every day you hear about a single dad though, I feel for you man. Anyway, the wife may not want to go to Lander after the Moab trip anyway, so maybe we caravan out there and have a Daddy vacation where the beer flows strongly and the trucks pushed to the limit.

haha yeah. that one. i never even attempted to use it on the 285's because i'm pretty sure it would take that long PER tire.....or explode, which is more likely.

You going ARB or something different? My armor setup is almost done (just need a rear bumper and to finish the sliders) then I need to start thinking about whether or not I will try to lock the rear diff before Moab. If so, I will start with the compressor as well. Might just get the double ARB so that I can have one part isolated for the locker then the other for air tools, etc.

Ill tell you I have been trying to rip my stock bumper off for a while. Fucker won't budge! I want to do a HC bumper but I can't justify it till I need it.

Yeah that works for me. Or we can wait till we get some snow on the ground and make it a snow run.

i'm seriously considering the smittybilt portable compressor. i would love to have an ARB, but i can't honestly justify it right now.

i'm working on my rear bumper too. i keep changing the design in my head to fit my needs so that isn't helping. though, i may have found an easier solution which includes ditching the idea of a swingout tire carrier (which has caused most of my headaches trying to fine tune) and building a bed rack for something i may or may not be purchasing today :anonymous:

Don't be leaving me to ponder about a purchase that I will likely be jealous of when you finally tell me!
