Ive got bfgs now and just ordered a set of trail grapplers, Ive gotten crazy mileage out of my bfgs close to 40,000. bfgs are cheap and last forever, nittos are a little pricey, weigh more, and are a MT so wont last quite as long and will probably have some road noise. Dont have mine on yet so cant really give you a first hand experience

The BFGs -- Good tires, last a long time, all kinds of sizes, more affordable, ALL TERRAIN

The Nittos -- Good tires, last not quite as long, very heavy, drop in mpg probably, expensive, noisy, MUD TERRAIN

They're not even on the same level of tires really, so what is it you're wanting to do with your truck? Cus either you're driving on pavement and some dirt roads, or you're driving on pavement, dirt roads, mud, rocks, etc etc...

As mentioned, one is all terrain, and the other is mud terrain. I have the BFG's and know others that have had the trail's. I'd guess that unless you're in mud a little more often then not, stick with the all terrains. The on road mileage and performance is amazing. Off road, they defiantly hold their own...making it a better all around tire. Florida summers are harsh on mud terrains also...so they're gonna wear faster.

Depending on what part of Florida you're in, there's mostly sugar sand. Mud Terrains don't do the best in sand, so that's defiantly something to look at.

I live in the panhandle of Florida so there's a lot dirt roads, and I do a lot of hunting. So a lot of pavement and trails/dirt roads etc
