Thanks...I hang out on another forum for fishing, so I guess I'm somewhat blog friendly...I know how to make an entrance. :p lol

Lpheat22 - it the 3" Rough Country suspension lift. I know a lot of people have sh*t to say about that brand, but I love it and I haven't had a single problem.

5100's upfront at 1.75. Got the lean going factory wheels and tires are in the bed. Kind of sad with that light of a load its sagging. It didn't look as bad when I took them out.

not sliders, they are n-fab step bars or labeled predator steps if another brand.

no bad to it. they are actually modeled to look like sliders, i think n-fabs website still labels them as bolt on "slider" steps or something like that. i know a lot of folks really like them but dont try to use it as a slider or you will have a serious "uh-oh".

Yup, TacoFMS is right. I love the look and I, someone who is NOT a knowledgeable vehicle person, was able to install these in about 20 minutes. Alone.

I don't do the whole wheeling mudding stuff. I just really like the looks of them. Need something to help my short wife getting in and out of the truck too.

I want them I just wish they weren't so dang expensive!

look up the predator line. its an offbranded nfab that is like half the price from what ive heard.... i dont know since i do the whole "wheelin" stuff like you called it i got sliders and have thanked them personally many times. but those steps are a lot better looking than the big chrome westin steps imo

Preciate you man! Gotta look somemore but found the predator for $263 and the nfab is like $366:eek:. I want them to protect me from door dings, and to help my wife get in so i'm sure they would be good for what I need. Saw in your build thread you didn't want to drill your frame to mount your steps so you welded them. Do you know all of the steps like this need to have holes drilled in the frame or are their standard holes that I don't know about on my truck for these? Sorry I know a little bit about a lot but not a lot about a little!:D

most steps use holes that are actually in the bottom of your cab(currently filled with little rubber grommets) and ive noticed now that some have a piece of framework angle that takes it to the frame of your truck and uses existing holes in the frame. either way plenty for steps

also keep an eye on the bst threads in here folks are always selling steps and such.

Access Literider Tonneau, GO RHINO Dominator II side steps
I just got some GO RHINO steps for $320 shipped. Gonna put them on this weekend with my new ACCESS LITERIDER. I will post up when done. These are the only mods I am doing. I needed the steps for my little kids to get in, I want the tonneau to keep snow and ice from sliding around and to keep crap from flying out on the highway.

Got the Gray TRD SPORT QUADCAB 4X.

I may plastidip the stock rims.

Just picked up the truck Saturday night.
