good rule of thumb is take the expected amperage of the light and multiply by 1.5...that will give you a good fuse size to go off. If it comes out uneven, just go to the next fuse size up

to get amperage of the light take the wattage and divide by voltage.

for example the 18" XT is listed as 108w and will be running from the 12v battery.

    108W/12V = 9A

    9A * 1.5 = 13.5A

15A or 20A fuse would work, but i'd go with the 20A

    Thats flood pattern right?
Light output has nothing to do with it being square or circle right?

    That's actually a narrow beam.

Correct, the square and round put out the same light.

    Lots...see build
Is there any problem with mounting them upside-down? I'm considering one or two of the trekpods (probably 1-2 trekpod mono XT) but I would probably mount it upside down in the rear so they'd be hanging from the bar on my camper shell.
I had some cheap halogen lights that said to switch the lens and reflective backing around if you mounted it upside-down, but it sounds like with these that would void the warranty.
    Thanks!
