I pay about 104 a month for my truck with 500 deductible and the gfs ex car which we just sold with just liability as it was a salvaged car and couldn't get full coverage with reasonable rates.

Holy mother... Insurance is through the roof in Canada. Damn.

I pay about 600 a year full coverage with 250 deduct. Of course I'm 58 years old and haven't had a ticket since about 1983... No accidents either.

When I started driving in 2005, I payed about $2700/year, liability only. A couple of years before that, before the rules changed I got quoted $6500/year as a brand new driver for a $3300 91 Mazda B2200, liability only again. I kept taking the bus...Now its $1650 for full coverage with $500 deductible.

This maybe higher than most but here in WV, the state does not actively verify if a person is lying when showing proof of insurance to get vehicle tags nor does the state actively pursue those that let their coverages lapse. So our insurance is higher due to the higher numbers of uninsured motorists.

$2,000 even per year for full coverage on a 2012 Tacoma and 2005 Jeep. Both are paid for. My wife and I are in our 20's.

I've been thinking about getting some rates from other companies. My home and vehicle insurance are with the same company right now.

Wow Canada you're scaring me. Why such high premium?
Some how health care has to be paid for? Or is everyone up there at higher risk of crashing?
