Won't Kahr/Auto Ordnance sell you one direct if you have the paperwork for an SBR? I believe they will.

Looks awesome, how much cord and how long did it take....also, think you can't make one in the style of the m1 garland slings that act as shooting aids?

Thanks man! It has 95 feet of cord in a 42 inch sling. It took about 5 hours to do. I would have to check it out then I may be able to figure out how to tie one up.

I'm definitely kidding on the sling, it is folded over on itself a few times, would take forever.

That is killer sling that you made though, I might have to try one

I have never seen one so I'm oblivious  but yeah it really isn't that hard. Find out the length of the sling, then set up a jig. I used a piece of 1x4 and screwed my swivels to that. Then its just a king cobra pattern.

Gun hysteria always results in opportunity after the fact. There were tons of people (probably in excess of a million) that went out and bought rifles that they didn't need and probably some couldn't afford. Now that people realize that the AWB is probably DOA...some are going to decide that they don't need that $4,000 LaRue or the 3 extra lowers they purchased at a premium. They're going to get a shock though when they try to sell their stripped lower for the $300 they paid for it. There are going to be a lot of people taking a bath on guns and magazines...just my prediction.

Another interesting thing will be how retail prices fall out over the next few months. All the gun manufacturers ramped up production...and they're going to be dropping all of their goods on the market over the next few months. I am pretty sure the panic buying has or will soon dry up...so, it's going to be interesting to watch the supply / demand curve play out in the market between now and September. I personally anticipate that prices are going to drop pretty hard in the summer...just my $.02.

    hey guys,

I have been looking for a cheap source of 45 colt ammo, and believe I have found a place.

It is called Gad Custom Cartridges, he reloads ammo, I am thinking about getting some brass reloaded by him

here is a link to his website
    http://www.gadcustomcartridges.com/

has anyone bought ammo from here before?

he told me he is pretty backed up, though it doesn't bother me all that much that it will take awhile. I called him today and he quoted me at 20$ per box of 50 using my reloaded brass...plus shipping back which will be able 25 bucks.

has anyone used a reloading service like this before?

oh, and on a side note...

What you guys think about a DPMS A3?

About to buy my first AR and deciding between this and a Bushmaster Carbon. What's a good price range?

Kind of. It's really the big distributors that set the price and sit on the inventory. Manufacturers are trucking away making guns as they always have been. If distributors start canceling orders, they'll just make less. The manufacturer doesn't really take a beating in those types of situations. It's when the distributors are sitting on tons of inventory that the prices start to drop.
