    I have a take off vibe (10-15MPH)

    Plus going 55 on the dash theres a shake in the steering wheel, but flossin at 75+ no issues!

    I'm feeling it in my ass... I mean I don't feel it in the steering wheel, although I'll pay more attention to make sure. But when I'm on the highway I can see my shift knob just vibrating back and forth. And when I hold my phone and have my arm rested on the center console I can't even read it...

    I'm a n00b to all this so I'm just trying to figure out what my best option is to try and eliminate some of it...

    ^ well you have to options either get a new one piece drive shaft which is about 600 bucks or you try carrier bearing drop which is about 80 bucks

    As my 2 buddies said, you probably have the driveline vibes then....usually out of balance tires will make the steering wheel vibrate/shake....especially if the tire in question is on the front.

    Everyones vibes seem to happen at different mph's or when the truck takes off from a stop. See if you can pin point when the vibration begins & ends, it would be helpful. If it happens all the time you might have other issues too.

    The carrier bearing drop they mentioned is located halfway down your rear drive shaft. It is a bracket that supports the shaft(shaft goes right thru it). There are 2 bolts holding it up & most 6" lift kits come with a "spacer" that goes on the bolts (should look like 2 aluminum, cylinder spacers if the previous owner installed them).....which lowers the angle of the drive shaft. The spacers should be 1/2" to 1" long. If you don't see these, this could be a start to your solution. Some guys add even longer spacers (I did, 1.5") & it helps some trucks, some trucks not.

    Sence you just got the truck & have no idea how it's been treated/maintained I would have a tire rotation & alignment done anyway. These big ole tires are too expensive to not keep aligned & wear out quick if it's off just a little.

    Check for the spacers we mentioned, get an alignment/rotation & see if you can pin point the speed that there is an issue.

    I think the pro comp kit came with a short & long spacer....I used the long & added a few more washers on top. I didn't like the shaft angle with just the spacer. Not sure what size the bolts are. There's a guy on TW that sells a drop bracket "block" that drops lower & is one solid piece vs. the individual cylinder spacers that come with the kit. His stuff looks like it would take the play out a lot more. Can't remember his screen name though.

    1" square tube...measures like 1 1/16" then the aluminum is 1/8" so basically 1 1/2"

    Ok....mine is closer to a 1.25" drop and only have a vibe at 25 to 30 mph. Maybe I need to add a tad more. Worth a try I guess.
