    Ok guys so Im sure this question has been asked but i have searched the thread and was unable to find much. I know these wont fit on stock suspension, however Im looking into purchasing OME Suspension Lift Kit with OME Dakar rear springs w/ bushings. With this lift on my reg. cab and stock steelies will the 255/85/16 fit? Sorry if this has already been answered. I'm pretty new to this and just trying to gain some clarity. Thanks any advice.

    My lift is on the way and my tire guy is aware of what I want. But just want to confirm that I need: 0* camber, 0* toe, and 3* caster.

    Short answer:
    A lift doesn't help you fit tires if you intend to use the full range of motion of your suspension. If your truck never leaves the pavement the type of lift doesn't matter, as long as it's 2-3" you should be able to get away with minimal adjustments if any.

    I have OME 885s & Dakars (3" front & rear) on my '11 2.7 AC 4x4 and am running 255/85/16 BFG KM2s with no rubbing or trimming (& still have front mud flaps). Mine are on 1st Gen TRDs that have 4.5" BS so if anything they would rub more than stocks with 5.25 BS when turning (but don't).

    OK.. I have read this and I am wondering if 1.25 spidertrax will work with a 2" lift and stock second gen wheels or if I should just sell the spidertrax??

    I am looking at going to a Mid-travel suspension with only 2" of lift and running a set of coopers maybe..I am not in a rush by any means.. I have to burn up the stock tires this summer first.. and save for the suspension..

    I have 235/85R16 studded Dura-Tracs for this winter.. and 17" rims for the summer..

    Does any one make a light weight 16" or 17" 6.5-7.5" rim??

    Any thoughts or input???

    I always run Blizzaks in the winter time but I've had friends that had their KM2's wiped in the middle only and that along with running 26-28lbs of air seems to work for them in the winter.

    I had 255/80/17's on my Rubicon and they were unsiped and at full air pressure they SUCKED on the icy or super slick stuff. Airing mine down from 33lbs to 26lbs did help a lot but I still much prefer my Blizzaks in the winter.

    Woot! Eric's sliders saved my ass a few years ago when a BMW decided to broadside me + about 1,000 times on the trails.

    BMW = fubar
    Toyota = scratch
    :D

    I have a sipe tool, but I have not yet found the need to sipe them. I have had zero issues in the rain. Snow onthe other hand I have only experienced a couple inches and had no issues besides the overactive ABS in my truck.

    Yup. Ideal #125 (250 watt)

    it only goes about 1/4" - 3/8" deep so you need to resipe them with wear.

    Really? I've found them to be a bit slippy when it's slick out. Significantly more so than the AT's I had before.
