No, I didn't. I didn't think I would need to. the driver side did fine. I don't think it fogged at all. I Usually use the car-wash right across the street from me, the touchless one. have NEVER had any problems with my original headlights fogging on me. That's what's so puzzling. Even though they come off as one big piece, i didn't think that re-sealing was needed? Whatever the case, The ones i bought, that side, there's NO reason why it should have collected THAT much water. I could have put a goldfish in there and made a fish tank out of it, thats how much there was. But, yea. Now the stock one is fogging. I took it off, stored it INSIDE my house this week. then put it back on in the garage, left truck in garage last night. Then when i got to the office this morning, bam. foggy. im confused

It can leak anywhere. Tell you what. Mod day, we'll help you do the bhlm the right way and we'll deal them back up. Honestly not hard and there's 4 of us I think that have done it prior. I've got the OEM sealant and lots of it.

Cool. Might take you up on the offer. I honestly wasn't impressed with the center driving lights on the set i bought anyway. I thought the amber was too dim. Plus it occurred to me that I THINK up here they can ticket you for having clear corners. Being as my truck is a magnet for citations, I would prefer to keep it too legit to quit. Not to mention, since I don't have much in the way big add-ons to do with the truck, this will give me an excuse to meet for a mod day. :)

What is it with the popo and pulling over Tacos?

They love me. In a bad way. NEVER got pulled over until I got the Taco.... and I am at 3 in the last year... for varying reasons and varying outcomes.

I guess I need to work on my pathetic crying girl look?

I can help you with the pathetic crying girl look. lol that was me when I started messing with my headlights. just kept saying "SHOULD HAVE LEFT THEM ALONE!" they are tinted anyway, so minus the clear corner marker and the clear center, they almost look the same. lol

And did i mention that when i took the ebay light off, and went to remove the head bulb, the little spring that holds it in place just snapped completely off. I swear i must have got the cheapest made ones. *face palm*

I would appreciate some pointers. :D

Now I feel like i should go check my headlights  My stock ones had a broken bracket on the passenger side though so that one is more or less useless. I did a super through examination of all mechanical stuff on the truck... twice before i bought it. The salesman thought I was crazy when I crawled under the truck not once, but twice and demanded to see the engine. Totally missed the broken headlight :/. I kind of fixed them some... so nothing crazy happened when I drove through Canada. Something about screws and brackets and drills.....

I drove my '99 up the Al-Can back from WA and by the time I got to Anchorage, my skid plate was being held by 2 bolts. Those frost heaves are NO joke.

Let this be a lesson to all. Beware the too good to be true eBay deals on headlights! The outcome is not worth it for how easy the bhlm is! I went through a touch less car wash last night and even without my rubber seals in place on the rear of the projector I had no condensation at all.

na I think you're safe with a blue one, well unless we go the smurf route and then it opens up all kinds of blue taco jokes.

TOTALLY AGREED. I'm truly kicking myself for it. I read plenty of testimonials on TW that I should have known better. But, like I said. Figure try the in-expensive route instead of messing up my stock ones. the POINT was to be able to fall back to my stock ones if any trouble, but now i'm just more annoyed than before. lol can't win for losin
