What I found by searching the model# just now is that it's anywhere from 1987 to about 1993. Best case it's 20 years old..after dumping $200 in it for basically nothing at the moment I just don't see it being worth doing more.

Just cause they rebuilt it doesn't mean it's going to run forever . I understand your pissed but small engine don't like sitting for a year . It most likely just needs to be cleaned not rebuilt .

You sounds like a jelly little girl . :)
Ill buy it off you for $25 lol have it running next day .

True but if I just had it done and didn't use it, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect it to work when I go to use it. Perfect world I could fix it myself but working 2 jobs and having a sick parent doesn't leave me a lot of free time not to mention dicking with this thing when I should be able to just fire it and use it. Depends what they have to say about it when I call them..might just get it fixed and sell it, let it be someone else's headache.

if you keep it or buy a new one . when you go to store it for along period of time use sta-bil . ive used it in my quads, street bikes, dirt bike, dads boat. ive had good luck using it . Other then that cleaning a carb is like changing oil in your truck . just maintence that has to be done .

Is that better than running it dry though? I've always done that with my lawnmower and never an issue

Sorry, what's broken? When I come back Sunday I could take a look maybe Monday or something. I'm pretty good with small engines

Won't run except on what I prime it with. I had it fixed last season..drive belt, scraper, and the carb rebuilt since it was doing this. They had fuel in it when I picked it up, I started it and shut the fuel line so it would run dry. Didn't use it and now it is doing the same thing. I dumped the fuel already in it and added fresh fuel and Startron today, same issue.
