I want a 3 inch lift from what I got with my prerunner...

Im trying to get my TSB kit from Toyota, tomorrow their gonna look at it...

If I do get that TSB what else will I need to get the full 3" that I want.
    I don't want Spacers unless absolutely necessary ( i know u need a 1/4" to eliminate tacolean).

Toytec has a AAL that is for TSB rear springs. makes it five total.
    Call them

On your first link- that says for tundra. ome 884s seem a bit much for the tacoma IIRC.
2nd link is what I used out back with my 3 leaf caca-rides nice now.
3rd link - yes, but get the 4 pack for 262 with DSM motorsports discount thru the forum here.
4th link - yes, that is the taco lean spacer I used up front on drvr side.
You should get new set of TRD bilsteins you can sell when they do the tsb but use the springs, strut hats on the 5100s.

I just went with 5100s all around set at 2.5 with trd springs/hats & the taco lean spacer on driver side up front. Out back went with Toytec TSB AAL 1.5 that goes with either tsb or non tsb leafs. I didn't get tsb because truck was over 36000 miles. Toytec also has a 2" AAL if you need more lift out back. I also had new upper ball joints put in that ended up having grease fittings so those can be serviced when needed. Also got aligned with no issues. Mine ended up like this......

Me too now...huh? I got 1.5 out back with the 1.5 AAL. Up front the 5100s were set on the 2.5 setting, I got 2.5 up front. Go 2" AAL with 1" blocks out back to get 3" or buy hi dollar aftermarket leafs. You can use 5100s with ome springs, 882s I think, and set the 5100s on first setting which is .85 to get 3 up front. Many options. I didn't go for 3. What I did was enough for my purposes. If you go 3 you are reaching point where you will need UCAs for proper ball joint action if you intend on beating the trails up very much.

ok its 6 45 central lets revise this question...

1 1/2" rear AAL with rear TSB springs
    Front Adj. Bilstein Shocks
    Front Top plate space 1/4"

    OR

BEST SELLER! 3" Lift With front coils & rear options

    Price per Unit (Each): $299.99
    ----OME3-05-AL----
    Included in kit:
FRONT: (2) OME 884 standard/light load front lift coil springs
Optional med and heavy coils can be selected but require OME N140S shocks sold seperately
Also includes ToyTec Top plate spacers for a full 3" front lift & (6) top plate studs.
REAR: (2) 2" lift ToyTec Add-a-leafs by Alcan spring (a long add-a-leaf for the best ride), w/OEM style anti-friction Pads, & new leaf spring center pins.
    Installation instructions.

    Now... Whats the difference? and...

they cost the same... so ima get one of them... which one...
also is the package you can buy as one able to be installed with TSB?

Go with Toytec. I got their Ultimate lift kit which comes with everything from shims to diff drop down kit. Ask them to swap out the rear AAL with the TSB AAL. They will do this at no extra charge. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with the ride or even the customer service. I will definately use them again.

I say either choice is good, it depends on how high you wanna go. 1st option good for 2.5. option 2 will get you in the 3 range but again, you will be pushin on where you might wanna consider UCAs that have ball joints with more range of motion than stock for movement & alignment reasons.

Where is chris4x4?? Can someone please summon the expert to get this cleared up? lol

Either get spacers or 5100s upfront with your budget and then for the rear, do the TSB + AAL. Thats exactly what I have and it sets perfect! :D

On Monday I'll be ordering the billys from DSM, the toytec tsb aal, 3 degree shims, and longer ubolts. i've done my research on this site and on toyotanation and most seem to think that this is a good setup. i'm getting the shims on the recommendation of the local shop that has done a taco leveling kit and a long uptravel kit on tacomas and they said it would be good.
