Def need to pull the bowl off the carb and check the jets. Probably clogged. Happened to my pressure washer this summer after some bad gas. It's an easy fix

I fixed up an old mower last summer and the same thing was happening. I bought a new carb and it didn't fix a damned thing. It would run with the choke on only. My dad and I ended up realizing that the engine wasn't getting enough fuel and the fix was to drill out the carb so it could get more fuel. It runs great now.

I can't believe your snowblower is such a pain in the butt....I have a craftsman that I got as a house warming gift when I moved here in 2003 that is still going strong on all original engine parts...I broke the chute with a rock once and I am on my last pair of shear bolts..I managed to discover a buried 2x4 piece my kid was playing with in the driveway before the last snow storm...it also bent one of the blades but it still works...I will fill the tank 1/2 way and run it dry and put fresh gas in for a storm....

It has the electric start and my shed has power so I can plug it in and it fires up in 3 seconds...

I even have to clear a patch of lawn for my little dog...

I recommend hitting a pole. After that, everything can go to shit and you don't even seem to care that you spent $21k on it... Not that I would know from experience or anything...

Spending 21k on a truck was the dumbest thing I could have ever done in my life. Idk why I did it. Wasting so much money. I would rather buy a older truck and fix it up like Im doing now. Everything is so much more cheaper then new ones. I might not know how to change all these parts on the truck yet but I'm willing to learn. You said you wanted to change for an fj. If I was you, I would buy a cheaper truck and fix it up. Youll save so much more money dude.

    I like having newer vehicles.

I found some good deals on FJs but I'm keeping the swagger wagon til it dies.

    I'm fixing what I broke.

x2. i like my locker, and nice truck. i also like the v6, and 5spd auto. i like how it has no VSC or TRAC. i like how it has 4 doors. i like the 6 disc changer. i like the better suspension. i like the short bed. and most of all... 2nd gens look like beasts when lifted, unlike the 1st gens that look like whimpering dogs  FJ's are whole new animals though. especially with the dual VVTI, locker, ATRAC, and manual T-case.

i know. if i could find a good enough deal on one that wasnt beaten like a red headed stepchild, didnt have bro wheels and street tires on it, wasnt the pussy non-TRD version, and was new or had low miles.... yea i'd prob be lance armstrong status in pants. BUT.. i'd have an FJ.

Its not bad as it seems lol. I thought I was crazy at first thinking about it but now I love what i did. My loan was cut more then in half, and i'll pay it off sooner. But you have a very nice 4runner. Keep it. I hate the look at fJs. Too damm big and ugly. plus they have horrible blind spot.

You take that back! You take that back right now! FJ's aren't ugly! They just take some getting used to.

Sometimes trading is the right thing. I think it was silly because of mileage, but in the end, you're the one with the tiny 1st gen and I'm still prowling the streets lol. My way is to trade up. Maybe I'll get a 2007 FJ after selling the 05 4Runner. Maybe I'll get a 78 FJ after selling the 53 Willys lol

Ok maybe there not so ugly. I think I need to see them more to really start to like them. I might have a small truck now but I love it. The 2.7 does haul ass when it needs too. Better then I thought. I don't mind having small. Small is better in some ways:D.

Trail rig to beat on, and keep your truck now as a mall crawler :D.

Yup, and if you had an FJ now, you'd probably be looking at 4Runners....

Good chance I'm not going to work tomorrow. Even if they don't close, everyone will probably call out anyways. I'll call out just to play in the snow.
