right now my truck is sitting outside without a grill. grill and front bumper are pretty much down to the fake chrome, rear is getting done tomorrow. then prepping and painting them sometime early in the week.

Added my Hella 500 FF's to my new grill. Turned out pretty good.

Paint the lower chrome bumper piece too... It will make it flow better.

I added some lights to my Satoshi grill and a set to my bull bar. I ordered some Lamin-x in yellow for my fogs and the ones in the bull bar.

Well, all my chrome bits are back to silver (brushed metal look is actually kinda cool!)

Going to go over everything again with a high grit paper next, then prime and paint sometime soon.

Question though...whats the best way to make sure everything is clean? Go over it with rubbing alcohol prior to putting the primer (adhesion promoter) down? or what?

Finally found some time to do the infamous "fog light mod" for the 1st gens... Here's the result. Tell me what you think! The bottom bulbs ARE NOT the stock amber color. I have silverstar ultras in the headlight so the "xenon blue" look obtained by the silverstars makes the normal halogen look like amber. Sorry.

Moved it back to there the old parking lights were. Simple as extending the positve wire from each light and switching the two.

Had a few hours waiting for the paint to dry on the GF's kids dresser, so I did the deckplate mod and cleaned the MAF, pulled my seat out and shimmed the play in the seat belt buckle (just wrapped a zip tie around it between the buckle brace and the seat so I could still bottom out the nut holding it on, it just feels stiff now and it rattled before and was annoying).

I was hoping my suspension package was coming on Friday so I could install it over the weekend. Had to work on the house instead :(
