I'm just about halfway threw the manifesto, holy corrupt. Indian burns to a 70's elder to draw blood, fucking sick (my gma raised me so that one in particular bugs me). No clue if what he writes is true, but so far he makes the same references over and over with no conflicting arguments/statements.

Note: in no way do I condone what he is doing, just reading the manifesto right now.

    .
If he shot out the north side of Big Bear on 18 he could be up on BLM land out in between Thorn and twentynine palms base. Southeast of Barstow, there are probably a lot of old mines out there, hundreds of square miles and no one there. It would take weeks to search an area that big. And he could get out there easily because there are no towns in between BB lake and there. Probably could open up a mine entrance somewhere and hide himself and his car there. Enough water, food and fuel he could stay for months. It's not a National Park so there would be no rangers poking about, enough recon would tell him where the 4x4 camping crowd doesn't go. 4x4 would be nice but not absolutely needed out there, (though it would probably blend in better out there). Right kind of car, he may be able to drive into LA and back without stopping anywhere for gas (or bring some extra). Wonder if he was ever at twentynine palms? Much easier to live out there than BB, sure those mountains are rugged but it's fucking freezing and he'd know they would be searching from the air with FLIR, he'd be a big 'ol red blob on their screens. Much easier in the Mojave.

Here's the latest. Who knows if this source is legit or not...doesn't make sense to me why he'd be there. His movements are strategic, not sporadic. He's not hiding, he's hunting.

Somebody called in a tip saying he was spotted near Barona Indian Casino in Lakeside, San Diego County. This is a place I, myself, have been to many times. The area around it is desolate, and it's a straight shot down the 15, to the 52 and 67. Cleveland Natl Forest Surrounds the area to the East, a huge part of the county, with only ONE major highway going through it, being I-8 to Yuma, AZ.

I took the time to plot this map of his "supposed" movement, as described by the media and sources. Don't mind the funky lines, sometimes google maps is weird. But I think if he really was in all these places, this is the route he would have taken. That's A LONG way to go without gas, from Big Bear to Lakeside.

    http://goo.gl/maps/mU2OF

Currently listening to San Diego Police dispatch for any traffic on Dorner or anything related to Barona Resort and Casino.

I have been watching this story and reading this thread all day, and some of this makes sense, but I wonder a few different things.
This dude named a bunch of his targets, but technically only got one, the officer's daughter. He then sent out his manifesto, knowing that all his other targets would be heavily protected after authorities read the manifesto.
In a way, he blew his whole plan. What I think happened is he just snapped (no shit) and didn't know what any of his next moves were.
He drove from LA to Corona, shot at two cops there, deviated from any plan he had and shot at the two Riverside officers, drove to San Diego and tried to steal a boat, then all the way up to Big bear. If he did have a plan, I don't see how any of this was in it.
I also don't see how he made it all over the place with so many cops looking for him. At 1 to 5 am, with no almost other cars on the road, officers couldn't find his truck? Why big bear? If he wanted them to fond his truck, why would he put it so deep in the mountains? How the hell would he get down from Big Bear? He's still up there, and I'll bet money he ends up dead, either by cops or his own gun by morning.

Just wondering where you heard this. Not disputing it, just wondering. Sure as hell seems like a lot of ground he's covered.
He has got to sleep sometime too.

I'm betting they're all diversions, and he's sitting on a hilltop with Chief Beck in his sights through that Barrett .50 cal. :notsure:

CNN just reported it for a second, I looked into it and only found this article so far. It's fresh news.

Well in any case, keep us posted. You're the only TW member I know of in Lakeside or Santee. If you hear or see any choppers or things like that, make sure to post up in this thread.

Stay safe, and keep that AR next to the bed.

This is just fucking wrong. I know there are good cops out there, but there are a lot of bad ones too. And they wonder why people have attitudes? The guy got fired for making false statements? That shit happens all the time. Cops lie, or flat out make false police reports all the time. That is what causes issues like this! Just because the have the badge. Defending themselves? Give me a fucking break! This is going to be great stuff for the NRA- The right the bear arms is there for situations like this.... Maybe its time for the community of LA to come together and fight for their rights to freedom :mad:

Yeah, if he doesn't let the crazy take over, than laying low and being far away, would be the smart thing to do for him.

"This man is highly irrational and crazy and a violent lunatic (among other things)

I hope this guy is shot on sight. He deserves it."

And what about the irrational behavior of the LAPD?!

He's already stated he has a plan and he is willing to do whatever to accomplish it so I dont think he is running away. However it could be another week before he strikes again for all we know.
