Then explain why they called THE NATIONAL FUCKING GUARD on the guy, along with Homeland Security, the Air Force, FBI, and every available black and white in the most densely populated metropolitan region in the western half of the country?!?!?

There is CLEARLY something they're leaving out. A small detail, something they DO NOT want out to the media and public. And they're taking every damn precaution they can to make sure this guy gets 20 bullets through him before he can even put his hands up and say "I surrender".

They're calling it "a manhunt like no other". This is some Osama Bin Laden style assassination tactical force they're using.

EDIT: I'm reading now that they are using DRONES to hunt for him. This is the first time in the history of the US Military that a drone is being used on an American Citizen in the US.

Even at a half a percent, police brutality is not acceptable.

I'm using common sense. You wanna stick up for some asshole going around killing people because he fucked up and lost his job? That's cool. But you can't believe what he says, he's a fucking mental case. I'm telling you for a fact that you don't get fired for "breaking the thin blue line." Even my union would win that fight every time, and we are small compared to LAPD. Also, LAPD isn't what they were in the days of rampart and Rodney king. Are there bad cops in LAPD? I'm sure there are, but like I said, statically, in the whole country, it's less than half a percent of cops that are bad. I'm not arguing about cops and how no one likes them and wants to root this guy on, just telling you that reality is not what this guy wrote in his letter, and that is a fact.

Hmmm... Or how about they are searching for him because HE KILLED A COP, INJURED MORE, AND HAS MADE IT CLEAR HE IS HUNTING FOR COPS. Not because "they want to save some psycho from bad mouthing them in the news," like LAPD doesn't get motherfucked in the news everyday anyways. They could care less about that.

If an ex-cop who was fired from your union killed an ex-captains daughter and fiance, and shot 3 cops killing 1, would your division call in the national guard, air force, FBI, homeland security, Military drones, and put every available officer on tactical alert? Probably not...

Yes they would. He has, at that point, committed Capitol murder. I remember not too long ago when a Manchester nh cop got shot, multiple times, point blank, he did not die, and every LE agency within miles was coming to help, indcluding the FBI. That cops a hero, and his first night back to work was this week.

I can understand every LEO within the search area would be on the lookout and help look, and I could even believe the FBI. But when I'm listening to the San Bernardino County System 8 radio frequency and I hear "Omaha is wheels up from March" and "Homeland Security or National Guard birds are on the way" , that means they have air support from the military and Natl. Guard. That, does NOT sound protocol for the circumstances, as terrible as they may be. Let alone the use of drones on US citizens.

Its pretty safe to say this is the highest priority man hunt we have seen, but at the same time media coverage is quite low. You have to admit it is strange at the least

You are in a much larger area, that is more densely populated, with a greater risk of public safety. While its not the norm, it's also not the norm that someone kills two people, shoots at cops, kills one cop, injures more, and gets away. This is a thought out plan for vengeance which makes it that much more dangerous because they don't know what the fuck he's going to do next. I don't blame them for calling in all the help they can get, this guy is a trained killer, and not like most stupid fucking gang members that they probably deal with every day.

We don't? Since you know exactly how that's handled why don't you first tell me what you THINK happens? And what info you THINK a PD would have on a call like that?

    X10 Mike (650H1).

Is everyone familiar with the Oakland Riders?

Brand new (10 days), Rookie officer, Keith Batts, reported serious misconduct/abuses of power by higher ranking officers, to IA, and resigned from his position as an Oakland Police Officer (not fired).

The officers (except one that fled the country), were investigated, fired, and prosecuted (not convicted by a jury).

The reporting officer (who quit), was awarded over $600,000, AND he was hired by another police department in the area.

There is no huge conspiracy within the LAPD, being aided by the FBI and huge amounts of federal resources, to "silence" Dorner.

They're looking for him because he is murdering cops and their families.

no one is sticking up for this dude, so chill. but everyone is questioning the conduct and integrity of the police. I think you live in a fantasy world where evil is punished fairly and justly each and every time.

for decades people have sat and complained about fighting police brutality and corruption but who is going to stand up to an entire police force? This "sociopath", "nutcase", and alleged murderer is.

I just hope they bring him in, unharmed, and give him a fair trial. Innocent until proven guilty. Then they need to investigate the LAPD.

my current company used to oversee the LAPD during the consent decree. (Search: Kroll LAPD consent decree).

He's not innocent since he implicated himself in his letter.... I never said it never happens, I said it does happen. Just not as much as this guy writes and apparently not as much as you think. But like I said, I'm not arguing why cops are bad and why everyone here hates cops, I'm just bringing some back to reality in this situation.
