    Doesn't look bad. I've never had an Acer, but from what I hear the are decent machines. The 2 things that may be a limiting factor are the 4gb of memory ( won't be an issue if it is just going to browse the web and do some basics) and the resolution for the screen isn't the greatest. It would be great for a web browser and some other basics.

    She won't be doing anything fancy with it. I can always upgrade the RAM if needed. We will likely run a large external monitor and keyboard/mouse off of it for desktop use then unplug for portability. I was looking for a touch screen. That is the best deal I could find under $800.

    just make sure you get a cpu that has more than 1 core, i had a single core laptop that ran at 2.5 ghz and had 3 gb of ram and it was slow as molasses

    Just got off the phone again with Jodi. She drove to St. Pete Beach to visit her sister. This time she was complaining because she had to put a sweatshirt on. Couldn't understand why I was not more concerned.:notsure:

    Evening Susan. About six inches on the ground right now, the heaviest part of the storm is supposed to be around 8 tonight until sometime tomorrow afternoon. They are calling for 70 mph winds tonight with around two feet by the time it ends. This picture is right now out my back door.
